Sat 05 Feb 1972 David Thinnes, 25, holder of a doctor's degree in chemisty, was found dead from hanging about 11 a.m. Friday (Feb. 4, 1972) in his room at the downtown Y.M.C.A., 207 W. Washington Ave. Coroner Clyde Chamberlain reuled the death a suicide. Survivors include his parents, Des Plaines, ill, and a sister, Mrs. Nancy Samborn, 1710 Leonard St. Funeral arrangements are pending the parents' arrival.
