James Cory (son of Job Cory and Anna Marie Bayley) migrated from Derby, 
Orleans County, Vermont in 1852, with his wife Deborah Morril Cory (daughter 
of Jonathan Morrill and Deborah Hoskins). James Migrated to California about 
1865 and is buried at the Divide Cemetery, Tuolumne County, CA.  

Additional Comments:
This photo was taken by Carol Ann Tucker Watts before the stone was 
destroyed.  She has since replaced the marker.  Thank you to Carol Ann.
