BUTLER, Alan J.
03 Jul 1964- 29 Aug 2004

Butler, Alan MADISON - Alan Butler, age 40, of Madison,
died on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at home, after a long
illness. He was born on July 3, 1964, in Madison, the son
of Gordon and Elizabeth "Betty" Butler. He was a member of
St. James Parish, having attended grade school there and
high school at Madison West. Survivors include a daughter,
Sarah Farnsworth of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother Don
Butler of Madison; four aunts; an uncle; and cousins. He
was preceded in death by brothers, William John and
Gregory Joseph; parents; paternal grandparents, Jess and
Clara Butler; and maternal grandparents, Gerold and Rose
Werner. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on
Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at the JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME,
5701 Odana Road, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack
officiating. Inurnment will be at Resurrection Catholic
Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until
the time of service at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu
of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. The
family would like to thank Pat O'Rourke for his assistance
