Died 03 Mar 1960 at Methodist Hospital, Madison, Dane Co., Wi. Married 19 Apr 1904 in Avoka, Iowa Co., Wi. Son of DeWitt C. and Mary Ann (DONNELLY) CULVER. Obituary is from the Wisconsin State Journal, Madison, Dane Co., WI., 04 May 1960: GEORGE C. CULVER George C. Culver, 83, of 315 W. MAin st., a retired well driller, died Thursday in a Madison hospital. Mr. Culver was born in Wyoming township and was a Madison resident for the past 40 years. He retired as a well driller about 10 years ago. He was a member of St. Raphael parish. Surviving are his wife, Katherine; and a sister, Mrs. Ann Dodge, Everett, Wash. Funeral services will be held in St. Raphael's Cathedral. 222 W. Main st. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the Joyce funeral home. 540 W. Married 19 Apr 1904 in Avoka, Iowa CO., Wi. Dau of Owen Thomas and Catherine (FINNEGAN) McMAHAN MRS. GEORGE CULVER Mrs. George Culver, 82, of 315 W. Main st., died Saturday(Jan, 20, 1962) in a hospital after suffering a heart attack. She was born in Clyde and was a Madison resident for many years. Her husband George, died in 1960. She was a member of St. Raphael parish. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. tuesday at St. Raphael Cathedral, 218 W. Main st. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetary. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the Joyce Funeral home, 540 W. Washington Ave. where the rosary eill be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.
