Rosemary was born on Sept. 1, 1919, in Madison, the daughter of Carlo and Mary (Distefano) Bonino. She grew up in the Greenbush Neighborhood, an area south of the Capital Square, known affectionately as ?Little Italy.? Rose was very proud of her Italian heritage. She provided dedicated care to the residents of Central Wisconsin Center for 20 years and retired in 1983. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Gerri (Paul) Hanson and her grandchildren, Jenny, Daniel and Kevin. The family would like to thank the staff of both Four Winds Manor and HospiceCare for all of their exceptional and compassionate care given to Rosemary while she was a resident. A private service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wisconsin Alzheimer?s Institute, 7818 Big Sky Drive, Madison, WI 53719 in Rosemary?s name. Mom, may you now be at peace.
