Hogan, Nancy C. 
MADISON - Nancy Cecelia Hogan, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2007. 
A Madison native, she graduated from West High School and the University of 
Wisconsin. She worked for 31 years at Manchester's Department Store on the 
square, mostly in the Display Dept. due to her background in the field of art. 
Nancy was especially fond of illustrating animals, making jewelry, sculpting 
wildlife, and also creating environment in the church. She was a member of the 
Badger Kennel Club for many years and took great pleasure in training and 
showing her dogs in obedience in the 50s thru 70s. This was followed by years 
of birding with the Madison Audubon Society. Nancy was interested in pursuing 
her Irish/ German genealogy, taking trips to Ireland and Germany and also 
researching at the State Historical Society. She is survived by her sister, 
Janet, with whom she shared these interests; a cousin, Maxine (Bob) Moore of 
Wichita, Kan.; and a very special family, Tim and Stefi O'Shea and their sons, 
Owen, Thomas and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and 
Elizabeth Hogan. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 
31, 2007, at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison. 
There will be a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial 
will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to 
Blessed Sacrament School's Endowment Fund, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison, WI 
53726; or The Madison Audubon Society, 222 South Hamilton St., Suite No. 1,
