McDERMOTT, William
Born 31 Jan 1892 in Dodgeville, Iowa Co., Wi.
Died 11 Jun 1962 in Madison, Dane Co., Wi.
Son of Patrick and Elizabeth (FINNEGAN) McDERMOTT.
From Rosie's notes: Bill was a bartender at the Park Hotel in
Madison, Wis. for many years. An article in Roundy's column in
the Wis. State Journal said "When Billy McDermott passed on he
was a bartender at the Park Hotel for years, he was one of the
greatest bartenders of all times and one of the nicest guys
too. Bill was a quiet individual if he couldn't say something
nice about you, he wouldn't say anything nothing. He was well
respected and was really a top man."
