Died 03 Apr 1955 at Methodist Hospital, Madison, Dane Co., Wi. Dau of Owen Thomas and Catherine (FINNEGAN) McMAHAN. She was born Elizabeth Anna, and switched it at some point. Married first husband was James Martin ANDERSON on 13 Feb 1888 in Highland, Iowa Co., Wi. Married 2nd husband Butler Lane TURK on 10 Sep 1909 in Madison, Dane Co., Wi. Married 3rd husband Matthias STRUPP on 13 Nov 1928 in Madison, Dane CO., WI. Married 4th husband UNK. ROWE probably between 1937-04 Jan 1941; but have yet to find a record of it. Obituary, the Wisconsin State Journal, Madison, Dane Co., WI, Monday April 04, 1955: MRS. ANNA ROWE Mrs. Anna Rowe, 78, of 1331 Williamson St., died Sunday at a Madison hospital after a long illness. She was born in Clyde, Wis and had been a Madison resident for more than 50 years. SHe was a member of St. Raphaels parish. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Bette, Milwaukee; Mrs. Henry Fiscus, 520 W. Doty st., and Mrs. Catharine Femrite 1331 Williamson st.; four sons, Lawrence Anderson, Oklahoma, Otto Anderson, Arizona; Frank Anderson, New York City, and Harold Turk, South Bend, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Higgins, Mazomanie; Mrs. Katherine Culver, 350 W. Main st.; Mrs. Greg Gorst, Mazomanie; and Mrs. Tillie Stevens, Long Beach, Calif.; four brothers, Thomas McMahon, Denver; William 306 W. Lakeside st.; John, Denver, Colo., and Albert , Madison; 28 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Joyce Funeral home after 7 tonight. She is survived by four brothers, Thomas McMahan, Burlington, Colo.; John McMahan, Dodgeville; William McMahan, Baraboo; and Albert McMahan, DeForest; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Higgins, and Mrs. Rose Gorst, both of Mazomanie; and Mrs. Tillie Stevens, Long Beach, Calif.
