Married Lucille R. SCHMITZ on 03 Jul 1948 at Blessed Sacrament Church in 
Madison, Dane Co., Wi.
CUCCIA, John P.

MADISON- John P. Cuccia, age 76, passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at a 
Madison nursing home. He was born July 16, 1925 to Paul and Rose (Parisi) 
Cuccia, at Madison, and he was a lifelong resident of Madison. John was an 
outstanding athlete who recieived 19 letters, starting in the seventh grade 
through his senior year at Madison West High School. He served in the Navy in 
WWII. John was retired from the city of Madison, where he worked for  many 
years. he was a member of the VFW and the Italian Workmen's Club. he is 
survived by two sons, Paul J. Cuccia of Madison, and Tony V. Cuccia of Grand 
Marsh, Wis.; a daughter, Kathy Lemrise of Madison; three granddaughters, Aimee 
Lemrise, Nicolle (Don) Eyre and Lucy Cuccia; three greatgrandchildren. Markus, 
Kaitlyn and Kelsey; a niece, Pat Frazer; and a nephew, David (Jill) Frazer. He 
was preceded in death by his parents; a stepfather, Sam Manalli; and a sister, 
Lucille Frazer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at 
11 a.m. at Fitch Lawrence San Fillippo Cress Funeral Home, 6021 University 
Ave. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends my call on Wednesday, 
Oct 10, 2001, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would 
like to thank the staff at St. Marys Care Center and Dr. Hartig and the staff 
at University Hospital.
