1852 - 1853 'Dodge County Gazette' newspaper accounts for local marriages and deaths. Juneau, Dodge County, Wisconsin Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives July 9, 2002 by Bill Porter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Issues Scanned: 16 June 1852 to 23 September 1853 (v.7/8/2002) Transcriber's Notes: The following files were transcribed from a microfilm copy of the 'Dodge County Gazette' obtained from the Wisconsin State Historical Society. The entries are listed in chronological order. News items, were not reviewed in detail to ferret out additional entries. Many deaths were reported by other regional or national papers and then reprinted in the news sections of the 'Dodge County Gazette'. I did not systematically transcribe these remote press accounts for this collection as it was my intention to find only local reports. Therefore, if you are seeking a particular event in Dodge County during these years, you should consult the microfilm again, to satisfy your search. I have done my best but, for any changes or additions please contact me via my email link. I hope this is useful to you, Bill Porter on 8 July 2002. Transcriber comments are between [ ] brackets.
