Column: ? Reads as follows: Sent to Oshkosh Mr. Miner Porter, an old resident and well known citizen of Fox Lake, was adjudged insane last Monday evening by Dr. Hallock of this city, and Dr. Klahr of Horicon, and taken to the Northern Hospital Tuesday morning. Sheriff Labuwi's brother and deputy sheriff Dan Smith of Fox Lake, accompanied the old gentleman to Oshkosh. He came here from Fox Lake Monday and spent the day around town. He showed unmistakable signs of insanity by his talk and actions, and on Tuesday morning he resisted the officers, who had to use much force to get him on the train. Mr. Porter is 78 years old and was a very intelligent person. [Information in brackets added by the transcriber, William W. Porter on 30 June 2001]
