The stage from Watertown [Wisconsin] to this place, upset last evening about three miles east of here, severely injuring Miss Clara Moak of Milwaukee, who was on her way to Portage City, accompanied by her brother, Alex'r Moak. Her principal injuries seem to be about the head, though, we believe, no fracture was made. Her left eye was bruised severely, and several gashes were made on and about her nose, lips and forehead. Her right cheek was cut to the bone, and she had every appearance of having been badly dealt with. Her wounds were dressed by Dr. E. Botsford, and she is doing well. Her brother was also bruised considerably, as also were several other passengers, though none seriously. No blame is attached to the driver, as the night was very dark and the first he knew the team was out of the track upon a bank, and in attempting to regain the road, over she went.
