Dodge County Pionier, May 10, 1892:
On Tuesday, March 1st, 83 year old Maria Harms (nee Thielke) died in her son's 
(Heinrich Harms) home.  The deceased was born on November 10th, 1809 in the 
town of Ravensberg, in Mecklenberg-Schwerin.  She came in 1866 as a widow with 
her children to America.  She settled in the town of Theresa, where she lived 
until she died of flu.
Her husband died 41 years earlier.
The burial was on March 5th, at the Mayville cemetery.  The pastor was H. A. 
Rehn.
Peace to her ashes.
