Charles Rolefson, an uncle of Bert Rolefson, of this city, died at his home near Toland Sunday night at 10:40 o'clock of stomach trouble, aged 46 years. Deceased was born in the town of Ashippun in 1868 and lived there all his life with the exception of a few years spent at Oconomowoc. Five years ago he married Amelia Olson, of Oconomowoc, who survives him with two children, Russel, aged three years, and a little child six months old. Mr. Rolefson was in good health up to a short time ago and had been confined to his bed but one week before he died. Besides his wife and children he is also survived by four brothers and three sisters. They are Sarah (Mrs. Ellingston), of Toland; Annie, Rolf, Ole and Emma Rolefson, of Oconomowoc; Tom, of Nasbotah; Martin of Brown Street. He has many nephews and nieces living, six of the former being pallbearers. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at St. Olaf's church at Toland, with burial at St. Olaf's cemetery. Rev. Nolstad officiating. Deceased was a well-known and industrious young man and a kind and loving husband and father. He has many friends who will mourn his death and extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
