Obtained from the Green Bay Press-Gazette Lillian DeJardin, 76, 1341 Cty. Rd. C., Brussels, died at her residence on Wednesday, September 11, 1996. She was born May 5, 1920 in Namur to the late Frank and osephine (Baudhuin) Delwiche. Lillian was owner and operator of Lil's Bar in Burssels for 36 years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and most active in the Door County Tavern League. On November 16, 1938 she married Wilmer DeJardin at Namur, he preceded her in death on December 18, 1978. Survivors include five children, Karen (Marvin) Mercier, Dyckesville; Aaron (Carol) DeJardin, Appleton; Marvin (Susan J.) DeJardin, Maplewood; Galen (Susan M.) DeJardin, Brussels; Debbie (James) Fameree, Brussels; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn (Hubert) DeGuelle, Luxemburg; Lema (Frank) Loritz, New Franken; sister and brother-in-law, Ella Mae and Kenneth Granius, Florida. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; grandson, Jeffrey; sister and brother-in-law, Anna and John Granius; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Mabel Delwiche. Friends may call from 2 to 9 pm Friday at the Forbes Funeral Home. The Christian Mothers Rosary at 4 pm and prayer service at 7 pm Friday. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 14 at 9:45 am at the Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay and 10:30 am at St. Francis & St. Mary Parish, Brussels with the Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
