O. Menomonie, was born in Baltimore, Md., in 1814. He first came to what is now Dunn County, then a part of Chippewa County, in the Spring of 1843. He remained in this part of the State about two years. He then returned to Baltimore. Being in delicate health at this period of his life, he spent several years in traveling. He went to California in 1852. Has been been a resident of Dunn County since 1856; has been a resident of Dunn County since 1856.
