DAVID HELLER was born in Northumberland Co., Pa., July 20, 1810. He was married to Sarah Wilson on the 5th of January, 1836, in Salina, Clinton Co., Pa. He early learned the saddlery trade, and subsequently studied dentistry. He came to Menomonie in 1858. Mrs. Heller having been here in 1856, on a visit to her brother, Capt. Wilson. He practiced dentistry until his death, Sept. 3, 1868. He was County Treasurer for two terms, one of his sons performing the duties the second term.
