Felland of Colfax will address the Elk Mound P.T.A. Tuesday evening, April 7 (1942). His talk will be coordinated to a sound film to be shown by County Nurse Alice Rhude the same evening. "Choose to Live", is the title of the film, put out by the women's field army for the control of cancer. April 6 through May 12 has been designated Cancer Control month, according to Mrs. Edwin Gunderson, Elk Mound, a lieutenant in the Field army, who urges that everyone join in this crusade to wipe out cnacer through education. It is with this purpose the P.T.A. of Elk Mound has arranged this program, which will be the last of the season. Miss Ruth Johnson will give several solos. There is no charge for the lecture of film. Lunch will be served. Mrs. Henry Holbein was a weekend guest of her daughter at Weston. Miss Marie Webert, St. Paul, was a weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Webert. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Saum of St. Paul were weekend guests at the home of Mrs. Rena Oas. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Webert, Joliet, Ill., and Miss Frances Smith of Eau Claire were guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. H.
