Dies in Sleep Mrs. Maude Caryl had Lived Here 41 Years Mrs. Maude Mae Caryl, 66, a resident of this city since 1907, died sometime last night as she slept at her home, 1016 Wallace Avenue. She had been in ill health for some time. Born at Connersville, WI., she came to Coeur d'Alene from that state. She was active in several organizations including the Rebekahs, the Royal Neighbors and the V.F.W. auxiliary. Survivors are one son, Melvin L. Caryl and one daughter, Mrs. Virgil McEuen, both of Coeur d'Alene; her mother, Mrs. Herman Vesper of Rice Lake, WI and Herman Whistler of Snohomish, WA. Five sisters, Mrs. Christine McDevitt and Miss Pearl Whistler of Spokane, Mrs. Charlotte Merchant and Mrs. Al Vesper of Rice Lake, WI and Mrs. L.H. Kellogg of Helena, Montana.
