Edward Josephus Foster, lumberman, Fairchild, Eau Claire county, is a son of N. C. Foster, and was born February 16, 1863, at Fort Howard, Wis. He was principally educated at the latter place. July 4, 1882, he married Miss Kittie E. Cole, and two children have blessed this union: Lottie E. and Cassius N. Foster. Mr. Foster's qualities as a business man are well known in the lumber circles. During the past year he has been identified with his father's business, the well-known institution of the N. C. Foster Lumber Company.
