His wife was Anna Stallman, born October 3, 1833, in Hannover, Germany. Both came to Eau Claire county in 1860 and settled on a farm in the town of Lincoln, where they lived up to 1885; when they sold the farm to their son, William Ernst Leidiger, who lives there today.
