MRS. GEORGE W. MASON was well known as the wife of an esteemed citizen and
the mother of an interesting family, whose idol she was.  She will long be
remembered as a fond mother and faithful wife, and as a devoted member
of the Baptist Church.  Her death, after a brief illness, occurred on Jan. 1,
1881.
