RICK, proprietor of meat market, was born in Prussia, Nov. 16, 1851; came to Ripon, Wis., in 1868; resided there eighteen months, then came to Augusta, where he has since lived. He has worked at butchering business most of the time since he came to Wisconsin; for the last eight years in business for himself. He is serving his second term as Village Trustee, and is a member of the A. F. & A. M. and I. O. O. F. societies. Besides his butchering business, he is engaged in farming and dealing in stock. Mr. Rick was married in Augusta, Dec. 25, 1878, to Mary Johnson.
