HARLOW E. RICKARD, grocer and boot and shoe merchant, was born in Massena, St. Lawrence Co., N. Y., May 26, 1858; came to Augusta in July 1861; was employed in the boot and shoe business in the Fall of 1872. Since May, 1879, he has been engaged in business for himself. Mr. Rickard was married in Augusta, Dec. 25, 1879, to Myra A. Houghton.
