Peter Schlosser was born in 1864, at Rittersdorf, Germany.  In 1883 he 
immigrated to Eau Claire, and from 1889 he was in the hardware business 
with his brothers, Christofer and Matthew.  Since 1896 he has been engaged 
in the insurance business.
