Came to this country in 1871 and worked at his trade as a butcher in the city of Eau Claire. Since 1888 he has conducted one of the most flourishing meat markets of the city. In 1885 Mr. Schwahn married Miss Nettie Becker, who was born in 1864, at Eau Claire, and also of German descent.
