It is bounded on the north by Chippewa county, on the south by the towns of Lincoln and Bridge Creek, on the east by Clark county and on the west by Seymour and Lincoln. It is well watered by the north fork of the Eau Claire river and Twelve Mile Pine, Sand, Hay and Muskrat creeks. It is stocked with an abundance of hard wood, and in its west center is located the great maple sugar district.
