The Clerks' Union attended and William Samuelson Dry Goods Company closed their establishment for the funeral. "The floral contributions were numerous and many of them of rare beauty." After the service the "...funeral cortege wended its way to the German Catholic cemetery....There was a general feeling of regret at the untimely death of this amiable young lady. Fannie Feirer was beloved and esteemed by all who knew her." Additional Comments: Fanny Feirer: b.August 1883 Eau Claire, WI, bu.May 05, 1904 Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire, WI. Predeceased by father, Jacob Feirer (see obit and death notice on this site). Survived by mother, Agnes Schuster Feirer (see death notice on this site) and siblings: Marie R. (Steuding), John Albert, Agnes J. (Lang), Anna E., Matilda ("Tilly") G., Elizabeth J. and Serafina ("Sadie") Marguerite. In some articles in the Eau Claire Leader about social events, they noted that Miss Fannie Feirer entertained (an aunt said that a number of the Feirer sisters had singing skills).
