STEUDING. Funeral services for Walter S. Steuding, 59, of 1211 Garfield Ave., Altoona, who died Monday at the Sacred Heart hospital, will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Golden Funeral Home and at 9:30 at St. Mary's Church in Altoona. The Rev. Stanley Sergot, O.M.I., will officiate, and burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery. Mr. Steuding was employed by the North Western railroad for 43 years, serving as material control clerk. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks, the B.A.R.E. lodge and the Holy Name society of the church. Mr. Steuding is survived by his wife, Marie, three daughters, Mrs. Roy McSorley, Jr. of Kimberly, Mrs. Anthony of Altoona and Mrs. Jack Kiefus of Chicago, three sons, Charles of Altoona, James of Chicago and John of Minneapolis, and two brothers, Roy and Ernest of Altoona, and 16 grand children.
