Adams, Wis.-- Charles Steuding, 65, of Altoona died at Sacred Heart hospital at Eau Claire on Thursday morning. Mr. Steuding was employed as locomotive engineer for the Omaha railroad and worked on several runs between Altoona and Adams for many years. The Daily Tribune, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, June 30, 1937, pg 6: Word was received here of the serious illness of Charles STEUDING at Sacred Heart hospital, Eau Claire. Mr. Steuding had been engineer for several years on various runs between Altoona and Adams and has many friends here.
