Obituary in Eau Claire Leader Sat, Dec. 23, 1944 (Eau Claire, Eau Claire 
County, WI)

HL: "Mrs. Dora S. Betz Dies at Hospital"

"Mrs. Dora Betz, of 841 Oxford avenue, widow of the late George M. Betz, 
died Friday morning at the Luther hospital.  The funeral will be held 
Sunday at 1 p.m. from the Gaal Funeral Home and from St. John's Lutheran 
church, the Rev. George Vollmer officiating.  Interment will be in the 
German Lutheran cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home any time 
after this noon.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Orville S. Richards, 
Mrs. Nicholas A. Schaaf, of Madison, and Mrs. Elgin G. Stallard of 
Minneapolis, Minn.; one son, George, of Eau Claire, and twelve grandchildren."
