This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Kent Robarge 9 May 2001 ==================================================================== John Betz, son of John Betz and Frances Korn, married to Rosa Kraft Surnames: BETZ, KORN, KRAFT, LEINENKUGEL Obituary in Eau Claire Leader Wednesday, March 16, 1932 "JOHN BETZ The death of John Betz, 67, occurred Tuesday afternoon at his farm home in the town of Seymour, seven miles south of this city. Heart trouble was the cause of his death. He was seized with a spell in the morning and Dr. E.O. McCarty was summoned. He did not regain consciousness, however, and died at one o'clock in the afternoon. The deceased was formerly a part owner of the Betz Brothers meat market at Eau Claire. He has resided on his farm in the town of Seymour for the past 25 years. Surviving are his widow and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Leinenkugel, matron at Building No. 4 at the Northern Wisconsin Colony and Training school here. Funeral arrangements will be announced later."
