Betz, 65, 1804 Taft Ave., who died Friday night at Sacred Heart Hospital. Mary Kathryn Blakeley was born in Minneapolis and had lived in Eau Claire most of her life except for employment in Arizona and San Francisco during World War II. She worked 20 years for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, serving in the Agricultural Conservation and Stabilization Service, until retiring in 1973. She is survived by a son, Thomas, Hudson, two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Services were at Fuller Funeral Home with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery."
