Madison street, died at 12:45 p.m. today (21 March 1942) at Sacred Heart hospital after an illness of some duration. He is survived by two sons, Arthur of Duluth, and Felix of Eau Claire; five daughters, Mrs. Victor BUCHER of Milwaukee; Mrs. Andrew GARTON, Mrs. Olbert SCHMIDT, Mrs. Helmer BROWN and Mrs. Elgie CORMICAN, all of Eau Claire; three sisters, Mrs. John BEEDLE, Stevens Point, Mrs. Margaret SEVERSON and Mrs. Frank PULASKI, both of Duluth, one brother, Joseph, also of Duluth, as well as 16 grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. Mr. BURNS served the Omaha railroad for 35 years before retiring in 1937. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the residence, 1150 E. Madison street, and at 8:30 from St. Patrick's church. Friends may call at the residence after 3 p.m. Monday.
