Cahill, 89, formerly of 724 DeKalb St., Wausau, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995, at the Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Wausau. She was born March 18, 1905, in Ashland, to James and Emma (McGovern) Cahill. Marie was an English teacher for 45 years. She taught at the former Horace Mann Junior High in Wausau for 16 years and at Eau Claire Junior High for 19 years. She was a member of the Wisconsin Retired Teachers Association and the National Teachers Association. Marie is survived by cousins and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wausau with the Very Rev. William Grevatch officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrickšs Cemetery, Eau Claire. Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
