Gabus, 87, 709 Talmadge St., died this morning at Eau Claire Manor. He was born in Eau Claire, where he lived all his life and married Lillian Berg. He worked for Bartingale Plumbing Co.for 50 years and was a lifelong member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 385. Survivors include a son Richard, Eau Claire, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, with burial in Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and until services at Fuller Funeral Home.
