Kneer in Eau Claire Leader-Telegram (Sept. 13, 1974) Ernest H. Kneer, 84, of 2915 Starr Ave., died Thursday afternoon at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born May 2, 1890, in Eau Claire, worked for the railroad at Altoona and was a foreman of the Waldorf Paper Co., St. Paul, Minn., before retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Meinholz, Eau Claire, with whom he lived; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday a the Golden Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Olaf's Catholic Church with the Rev. William Matzek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Bible vigil will be at 8 p.m. Father: John N.
