Kneer in Eau Claire Daily Telegram (March 1, 1960) John A. Kneer, 75, of 623 Fall St., died Monday at the Sacred Heart hospital. Mr. Kneer was a telegrapher for the Chicago North Western railroad for 47 years, retiring 10 years ago. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Holy Name society. Surviving are his wife, Sophia, three daughters, Sister M. Geneva, F.S.P.A., of Carroll, Iowa; Sister M. Gwendolyn, F.S.P.A., La Crosse, and Mrs. Everett Eades, St. Louis Park, Minn.; two sons, Bernard and Joseph of Eau Claire; a sister, Mrs. Anna Schneider of Duluth; a brother, Ernest of St. Paul, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Golden Funeral Home and at 9:30 at Sacred Heart Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.W. Pittz officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery. Friends may call at Golden's Wednesday afternoon and evening, and the rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Father: John N.
