Lillich in Oberlin A clipping received here from an Oberlin, Ohio, newspaper tells of the death of Mrs. Antoinette Bonnot Lillich of Oberlin, wife of Prof. George O. Lillich. Mrs. Lillich died Sunday morning, March 28 (1942), at 4:15 o'clock at Huron road hospital in East Cleveland. She had been critically ill following an operation performed ten days earlier. Mrs. Lillich was born in 1902 in this city, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Bonnot. She attended the Eau Claire schools and Eau Claire State Teachers College and from 1921-23 studied at Northwestern university where she majored in School Music. She taught music in the schools of Delavan the following year. On June 26, 1924, she was married to George O. Lillich in Eau Claire. Prof. and Mrs. Lillich lived one year in Pullman, Wash., and then went to Oberlin where they have since lived. Mrs. Lillich served in many college and community activities. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Christchurch and of Nineteenth Century club, served on advisory board of the college YWCA. From 1925-27 she was a member of the teaching staff of the Oberlin Kindergarten Training School. this year she had served as vice-president of the Nineteenth Century club. Besides her husband, Mrs. Lillich is survived by one son, Richard; a daughter, Margaret Pauline; and her mother, Mrs. A. P. Bonnot. Funeral services were held at Christ church at 2:30 p.m. March 31 (1942) with the Rev. Louis E. Daniels officiating.
