This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Tim Dowling 30 May 2003 ==================================================================== Mrs. George Regli Mildred Ada Regli was born on August 10, 1876, at Fulda, Minnesota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Abigail Slawson. When a young child, she moved with her parents to Redwing, Minn., and later to Eau Claire, Wis., where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to George Regli at Eau Claire on June 27, 1900, and a year later they moved to Chetek where they resided and continued to make their home. Death came to Mrs. Regli on October 6, 1961, at a Rice Lake hospital following a short period of poor health. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and on April 6, 1952, by her husband, George. Surviving are three daughters; Dorothy, (Mrs. Edwin Holten of Chetek); Gertrude (Mrs. Sylvester Dunsmoor of Cloquet, Minn); and Phyllis (Mrs. Stewart Robinson of Northville, Michigan); eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Chetek Advent Christian Church on Monday afternoon, October 6th, with Rev. R. F. Denius officiating. Interment took place at Lakeview Cemetery, Chetek, with the Burnham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
