Richards in April 24, 1969 Wisconsin State Journal, Section 1, pg. 10 (Madison, WI) Mrs. Orville Richards "Mrs. Orville S. Richards, 71, of 1502 Morrison St., died unexpectedly Tuesday (April 22, 1969) in a hospital. The former Lorene Betz was born in Eau Claire and was a resident here since 1924. She was an office secretary for many years in the Madison school system. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, 944 E. Gorham St. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Darwin Gregory, Springfield, Va.; two sons, John M., Pensacola, Fla., and Gene W., Evansville, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Schaaf, 1621 Madison St., and Mrs. Caroline Stallard, Minneapolis, Minn.; a brother, George Betz, Eau Claire; eight grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Gunderson Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr., where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family suggested memorials be made to the church."
