"Mrs. Lillian B. Schaaf, age 92, died Tuesday, June 16, 1992, at the Nazareth House in Stoughton. She was born on August 20, 1899, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She taught high school in Stoughton, Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire. Mrs. Schaaf was a member of the Madison Catholic Womens Club, St. Mary's Hospital Auxillary, Madison Elks Auxillary, and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mary (Roger) Kampschroer of Des Plaines, Illinois; five sons, David (Anne) of Escanaba, Michigan, Gordon (Virginia) of Kensington, Maryland, Robert (Rosemary) of Springfield, Illinois, Kenneth of Honesdale, Pennsylvania; 23 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas on December 29, 1970. Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2131 Rowley Ave., at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 1992. The Reverend Thomas Poulsen will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, at the Joyce Funeral Home, 5701 Odana Rd. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nazareth House in Stoughton of Masses would be appreciated."
