LOUIS SPEHLE "Mrs. Louis Spehle, 73, Route 4, Eau Claire, died Monday at her home. The former Edith Winter was born in the town of Brunswick, Eau Claire County, and lived in the town most of her life. She taught school at Hatch and Sunnyview schools. She was married to Louis Spehle Nov. 6 1928 in St. Paul. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Heintz, Mrs. Leon Schretenthaler, both of Eau Claire; four sons, LaMoine, William, both of Eau Claire, John, Chippewa Falls, Charles, Fall Creek; three brothers, Clarence, John and Frank Winter, all of Eau Claire; and 20 grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church, with burial in Brunswick Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Chapel and an hour before services at the church."
