Submitted by: Kent Robarge 29 September 2003 ************************************************************************ Wagner, Mary (Kneer) Obituary of Mary (Kneer) Wagner in Eau Claire Daily Telegram (July 30, 1956) Mrs. Mary Wagner, 82, of 723 N. 11th St., died in Sacred Heart Hospital Sunday afternoon. She had received treatment there six weeks. Funeral services will be held in the Golden Funeral Home Wednesday at 9 a.m., and in St. James the Greater Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m., the Rev. George P. Mathieu officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening. The St. James Rosary Confraternity will recite the rosary there Tuesday at 3 p.m. The parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mrs. Wagner was born in Germany in 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kneer. The family moved to Eau Claire when she was 12 years old. Mrs. Wagner is survived by a daughter, Marie, at home; three brothers, John Kneer, Eau Claire, Ernest Kneer, St. Paul, Minn., and Erwin Kneer, Plattsmouth, Neb.; and a sister, Mrs. Peter Schneider, Duluth. Mrs. Wagner was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and the St. James Rosary Confraternity. Father: John N.
