B. page 213 Know all Men by these Presents: I, Jane Gilbert of Hopewell, in the county of Albert and Province of New Brunswick, widow, make and ordain this as my last will and testament. To my daughter Helen, the wife of James Moore, now of Wisconsin in the United States of America, I give, and bequeath, my lot of dyked marshland, on the Hilldyke so called in Hopewell aforesaid, containing seven acres more or less. Also to said Helen Ten Silver teaspoons and a Looking Glass. To my son Walter R. Gilbert the sum of four hundred dolalrs, to be paid by my executor and out of my personal estate, as soon as the same be available after my decease. Also to Walter R. a silver watch, a bedstead, bed and bedding. To my son Humphrey Gilbert, I give and bequeath a writing desk, a Looking Glass, the picture of my son Charles deceased, and the Family Bible. I will and direct that the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and person of which I may die possessed, may be divided equally between my son Humphrey, and my daughter Helen, subject to the payment of all just debts claims, or expenses. I name, constitute and appoint my nephew Joseph W. Turner, sole executor of this my last will and testament, and I hereby disallow and revoke all former wills, or executors therein named ratifying and confirming this and no other, as my last will and testament.
