Dec. 16, 1949, p. 18 Miss Elizabeth M. Beyer, a lifelong resident of the city, died at 5:30 a.m. today at St. Agnes hospital, where she had been a patient the last five months. She was the daughter of Martin and Katherine Theisen Beyer. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Nelson and Mrs. Clara Sanders, city, and a brother, Joseph Beyer, Chicago. Two brothers preceded her in death. Miss Beyer was a member of St. Joseph’s church and of the Altar and Rosary society. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:45 a.m. at the Geo. M. Dugan funeral home, where the body will be in state after 2 p.m. Saturday, and at 9:15 a.m. at St. Joseph’s church. The Rev. Henry G. Riordan will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Dugan funeral home and at 9:15 a.m. at St. Joseph’s church, the Rev. Henry G. Riordan officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery, where the Rev. John Devine conducted rites. Pallbearers were Leo and Alvin Nelson, Herbert Meyer, Dennis and Joseph Boehrig and Edward Evans. Members of the Altar and Rosary society attended the services. Out-of-town persons present at the services included Mrs. Jerry Novak, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hein, Waupun; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Nelson, Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nelson, Racine; Mrs. Carl Mehner, Sheboygan; Mrs. Ray Kluberton, Madison; and others from Campbellsport and neighboring places.
