Mrs. Peter Loehr, Pioneer of Forest, Succumbs After Lingering Illness. CAME HERE IN 1858. Husband, Who Died in 1898, Was Assemblyman From First District. Mrs. Peter Loehr, aged 75 years, a prominent pioneer resident of this county, died at 11:30 o'clock Thursday evening, at St. Agnes hospital in this city, after an illness extending over a period of about a year. Mrs. Loehr was the wife of Ex-assemblyman Peter Loehr of the town of Forest, who died in 1898. The surviving relatives are five daughters and six sons. They are Mrs. John Diedrich of Michigamme, Mich.; Mrs. Louis Buessy of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mrs. Joseph Diedrich, Mrs. John Beachler, Mrs. Alex Leonard, Peter, Michael, John, Louis, Henry and Anton Loehr, all of the town of Forest. Mrs. Loehr was born in Germany and came to this country when a young woman. After arriving here she lived for about three years in Milwaukee. In 1858 she came to the town of Forest. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the home in Forest and at 10 o'clock from St. Michael's church. Rev. Fr. Kraemer will officate and interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Fond du Lac Commonwealth Sat. 9/6/1913 AN OLD RESIDENT. Mrs. Peter Loehr, Resident of Town of Forest Since 1858, Dies, Aged 75. Mrs. Peter Loehr, who has been a resident of the town of Forest since 1858, died in this city at 11:30 Thursday night. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Loehr was the widow of ex-Assemblyman Peter Loehr, who died in 1898. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Joseph Diedrich, Mrs. John Beacher and Mrs. Alex Leonard, of the town of Forest, Mrs. John Diedrich, of Michigana, and Mrs. Louis Buesy, of Utah; and six sons, Peter, Michael, John , Louis, Henry and Anton, all of the town of Forest. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning from St. Michael's church, Dotyville, Rev. Father Kramer officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Fond du Lac Commonwealth 9/8/1913 Loehr - The funeral of Mrs. Peter Loehr was held at 9:30 this morning from the residence in the town of Forest, and at 10 o'clock from St. Michael's church, Dotyville, Rev. Father Kramer officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. John Wuest, Anton Leonard, Peter Mertes, John Fox and Peter McGalloway acted as bearers. The funeral was largely attended, the members of the Altar society of St. Michael's church attending in a body. Those who were here from away to attend the funeral were: Christ Reischwein, of Chicago; and Mr. and Mrs. John Diedrich, of Michigamme, Mich.
