Mrs. Victoria Kohlman Will Be Buried on Thursday. Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Kohlman, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. August Blank of Mt. Calvary Monday morning at 8:20 o’clock, will be held at 10 o’clock Thursday morning at the home of Mrs. Blank. The deceased was born in Germany eighty-two years ago and came to this country when she was a young girl. She came first to New York, and later moved to the Town of Forest. Twenty years ago Mrs. Kohlman left the farm and moved to Mt. Calvary. Mr. Kohlman died 14 years ago, August 27. Mrs. Kohlman leaves seven sons, Frank, Charles, Martin, Joseph, John, Ferdinand, and Anton; one daughter, Mrs. August Blank; fifty-nine grand children, and twenty two great grand children. Mrs. Kohlman’s children live in Mt. Calvary and the vicinity. Fond du Lac Daily Reporter 8/21/1919 Last rites for Mrs. Victoria Kohlman who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. August Blank of Mt. Calvary Monday morning were held this morning at 10 o’clock from the Blank residence. Mrs. Kohlman had been a resident of Mt. calvary for the past twenty years. She is survived by seven sons, Frank, Charles, Martin, Joseph, John, Ferdinand and Anton, and one daughter, Mrs. A. Blank. She also leaves fifty-nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Kiel Tri-County Record 8/28/1919 Mt. Calvary - The funeral of Mrs. Victoria Kohlmann, who died last week at the age of 82 years, took place last Thursday. Her husband, Benedict Kohlmann, preceded her in death some years ago. She leaves seven sons and one daughter, two brothers, Carl and Ferdinand Sippel and one sister, Mrs. Baus. May she rest in peace! Additional Comments: Victoria Kohlman was the daughter of Adam and Barbara Drechsler Sippel of Mt. Calvary WI. She was born on April 11, 1837 in Rückers (north of Fulda), Hesse-Kassel, Germany. She married Benedict Kohlman on September 15, 1859 at St. Mary’s Church, Nassau, Rensselaer County NY. She died on August 18, 1918. Her husband died on August 27, 1905. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Richard and Benedict; her sister, Sabina (Mrs. Adam Borns) and two brothers: Herman and Felix.
