He is survived by his widow; two sons, John of Cadillac and Frank of Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Koch of this city and Mrs. Mason Hall of New Orleans; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. He had been a resident of Grand Rapids for 61 years and was a member of the Arbeiter and St. Joseph societies. Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Mary’s church. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Additional Comments: Vincent Sippel was the son of Adam and Barbara Drechsler Sippel of Mt. Calvary WI. He was born on May 3, 1845 in Rückers (north of Fulda), Hesse- Kassel, Germany. He married Magdelena Weber in Albany NY in 1866. He died on May 16, 1927. He was preceded in death by his parents; by three daughters Anna, Anna Margaret (Mrs. Michael Peters), Lucy Amalia (Mrs. Anthony Hammerschmidt); and a son, Joseph; his sisters, Sabina (Mrs. Adam Borns) and Victoria (Mrs. Benedict Kohlman) and three brothers: Herman, Felix and Ferdinand.
