She had been ill for several months. Besides her husband she leaves six sons, Peter J., Joseph, Michael, Ed and J.H. Wickert, of this city, and Frank, of Milwaukee; and one daughter, Mrs. Kate Mandt, of Oshkosh. Anna Kneipp, was born June 14, 1835, in the village of Koplens, province of Mortzhausen, Prussia. She was married to Mr. Wickert Feb. 14, 1855, and they came to America in 1856, settling in New York. After spending some time there they came to Wisconsin, living first at Manitowoc Rapids and coming to Fond du Lac in 1859. On Feb. 14, 1905, Mr. and Mrs. Wickert celebrated their golden wedding. The funeral will be held 8:30 Saturday morning from the residence and at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's church, Rev. Charles Stehling officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
